NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — The vodka may be cheap, but according to the latest cost-of-living survey from Mercer Consulting, Moscow now ranks as the world’s most expensive city, edging out Tokyo, which held the No. 1 spot for four straight years.

    I would never have guessed it. What is worrying is that this news may mean a widening gap between rich and poor in Moskva.

    That gap exists for many years,Jack.People won’t talk about it though.The rich are hiding it and the poor have no resources to make themselves heard.

    It might be clear to many more people than we care to know…but then again,what can they do about that?
    There is one thing that almost no country/city in the world can beat Belgium at and that is very high taxes…on everything.
    That means that is is also very expensive living here.
    Oh,Oslo as well.
