Wow it is really good and useful list of Freeware for Windows Vista. Everything is put in one place so it is very comfortable for all people I think. The other good point is that people have the ability to choose a freeware from various alternatives. Thanks a lot for sharing it! I will be waiting for other great posts from you!

Hi Rob and apologies for the late answer. I think you are missing some codecs. You might want to install K Lite Codec Pack. That will fix your problem.

Vista came installed with my new laptop and have tried to live with it. Your page helps , thanks. My concern is that I can’t get any video to play on any player just the sound. Do you have any solutions or have you heard of similar.

If you download the “Mega Sound Recorder” onto your Vista machine you will receive a virus – some spyware and a broken sound system. Thnx – John

It is not free, you have to pay for it.
Easy enough to determine the difference the website has $ ammount on it!
