A while back i blogged about how to ” Download video and mp3 from youtube with Greasemonkey script” but that script is broken and every other script i tried stops working after a couple of days.
There is however an alternative to the scripts, a Firefox addon that seems to be working just fine: YouTube to MP3 .
This addon lets you extract and download mp3’s from Youtube, MyVideo, Clipfish, Sevenload, Dailymotion, MySpace as well as video files.

How to save mp3 files from YouTube music videos

A while ago I posted an entry called : “Howto : Quick .flv video file conversion” and it was about converting Youtube .flv files into ..AVI, .MP4, .MOV , etc…. with FLV Online converter.
There is one other thing that this converter can do : converting music video files into mp3’s so you can listen them on your mp3 player.
How to do it :
It’s simple. Go to Youtube.com and find your music video file. Copy the URL of that file.
Open FLV Online converter a paste the direct link from the file and click on the “Convert to” button and choose MP3.
Now all you have to do is wait untill the conversion is done. Save your mp3 and rename it.
