PowerPoint to Video Converter

On 6 March, 2010 by Carol

I am not a big Power-Point user. If somebody sends me a .ppt file, i just use Google PPT viewer….and that’s that.

But i know that there are still lots of people who still rely on these presentations for their meetings and  maybe this tool will help you at some point.

Here’s a good reason of why you should convert your presentations to video: If you wish to prepare yourself for that next meeting, you could convert the presentation to a video ( playable by most DVD-players), load it on a USB stick and play it on your big TV screen, then try to impress your “ghost- audience”. It’s a great way to rehearse.

After trying this app, i just realized that it is a lot more elegant to present from a video rather than just playing a slide-show. That’s another good reason to start converting.

Last reason…If you wish to share a great presentation with the whole world, just convert it and upload it to YouTube.com.
That’s a great way to get some exposure.

The free version of this software is quite limited but not bad at all.
The full version is loaded with tons of settings and export/conversion options.

From the website:

Acoolsoft PPT to Video Free makes it easy to convert PowerPoint presentations to videos with no cost. Convert your PowerPoint presentation to video file in formats of WMV, ASF, MKV and MOV and share to all with more flexible ways.
