You know what a crossbow is, but i bet you don’t know the name of its components unless you  studied Weaponry or you’re just fascinated by crossbows and start your quest in finding out about its mechanism.
When i need to know things like this, i just use my image dictionary, which is really cool and it’s in 4 languages .
