How to save mp3 files from YouTube music videos
A while ago I posted an entry called : “Howto : Quick .flv video file conversion” and it was about converting Youtube .flv files into ..AVI, .MP4, .MOV , etc…. with FLV Online converter.
There is one other thing that this converter can do : converting music video files into mp3′s so you can listen them on your mp3 player.
How to do it :
It’s simple. Go to Youtube.com and find your music video file. Copy the URL of that file.
Open FLV Online converter a paste the direct link from the file and click on the “Convert to” button and choose MP3.
Now all you have to do is wait untill the conversion is done. Save your mp3 and rename it.

Try Vdownloader instead: http://www.vdownloader.es/. You shouldn't have problems with it.

Thanks for the tip, but after 2 tries, the convertor created .MP3 files with a size of 0 bytes – obviously not a playable music file after downloading!

The online app caused me some issues last time i tried so i don’t think you are doing anything wrong…maybe is just the app.

Dear Carol,
I was confused to change from youtube file video to mp3. When I was following the rule to download your sugesst file in this website, they are not work properly !
Please , give me some explaination with your web. Is there anything a mistake I have taken in downloading this tools ?
My youtube file was http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7eLi3dax3E to change to mp3 have not done properly.

On Linux, or Cygwin on Windows, you can use ffmpeg to convert flv to mp3.

Will it download mp3′s off Googlevideo,because there is one or two nice ambient tracks on there,that aren’t on YouTube

I read recetly, even our favorite Zamzar has added direct conversion facility for youtube, google videos, dailymotion etc. And we can convert to mp3 too
