Facing the blogger’s block moment
Personal, General May 29th, 2007
Lately, I haven’t been keeping up my blog. I am facing one of those moments that probably every blogger has it once in a while - a blogging block moment.
I am sure that I can find lots of things to write about, even personal, but it just seems like I can’t pass over this gap.
I apologize to all my visitors for that and I am sure you will understand that this is just a temporary thing.
->
There’s one thing that I must add to this entry and it is addressed to Chiron.
You didn’t offend me. You couldn’t have. You are entitled to have your own opinion and I can only respect that. It’s a strong and meaningful one.
The fact that we have different views, should never become an issue.
Everything you’ve said to me is true, and I really appreciate honesty, open communication and mature behavior.
The things I’ve said to you, were not in anger but they weren’t objective enough.
I just don’t tolerate something being taken away from me, without me knowing, especially something I put so much passion and heart into.
There are so many people out there using other’s work, and if we don’t react, they’ll all use everything and what we do is in vain…no matter how simple what we publish is.
As weird as this may sound to you, I thank you for your last e-mail.
I won’t apologize to you, and you shouldn’t apologize to me either, because there’s nothing to apologize for.
Copyscape will be gone from the entries, so feel free to use what you need. Just let me know….that’s all I ask.
You take good care of yourself, and don’t change the way you are, because you are a good one.
About
The writer block will pass by soon. It usually does but I guess the best thing you can do is leave your blog for a while and try something else maybe painting or something else you have always wanted to try out. Just keep your mind fresh!
Painting sounds like a good idea, but i will have to hold it down for a little while and then I’ll get my hands messy.
It’s frustrating to want to blog and just feel blocked. Is like anything that i will put up , will not make sense.
Thanks Rohit.
Wanted to drop by and say keep pushing. Things are going to work out for you, I promise. Persistence is key, and if you ever need help to write about something. I offer some great content tools on my website www.randlife.com
I hope you come back again! I’ve subscribed to your feed, please do the same =)
Hi Randall,
I know it will work out. It always does.
BTW, i don not intend to stay away that long.
There are few things i found and they are on my drafts waiting to be finished.
Thanks for your link . I just subscribed to your feed.
I have a fair few blocks. Because my blog is mostly about games, there is a games lull between January and June mostly with not alot of good games out so I tend not to update that regularly.
I feel like I have lost direction on my blog and need to find some of it back again before I lose readership.
Ouch!
We need to make a petition and ask the game makers to make more games….like 5 Sam Fisher’s per year if possible…
There are few coming up, so you’ll have your readers back very soon.
I keep meaning to post about up and coming games for the rest of the year. Theres a number coming up that interest me, including The Darkness which looks very good, coming out the end of this month I think.
How about Two Worlds?
Is coming soon and is like Oblivion.
Just can’t wait to have it.
Oh yeah Two Worlds definitely. Looks very much like Oblivion, even in the graphics and characters. Thats on my hit list.
One game I have been touting for a couple of years now before it was famous, is Alan Wake. This is going to be a massive hit I am sure of it. Shame its not due out until at least next year.
Carol even I had this problem for the past few months and now I am out of it and I have started blogging now.
My mom is completely alright now thanks for your prayers.
