I’ve decided to start my essential freeware 2013 list and i have installed and tested each and everyone of them.
These are the best, sexiest, cleanest and must-have free apps of 2013 and if you don’t use them by now, give them a chance and you will love them. Many of them have been around for many years, some are still newborns but they’ve gained a good reputation and they’ve proved to do their job.
Note: I am using all the freeware listed below. Yes, all of them.
Note 2: It seems i had a bug on my original post and none of the links were being displayed. Apologies for that.
Essential freeware 2013
The all-in-one notes organizer, is a must-have for every computer user. It’s the best notebook, the best note organizer i came across.

PicPick all-in-one screen capture
This is another screenshot freeware, a full-featured screen capture tool, an intuitive image editor, a color picker, a color palette, a pixel- ruler, a protractor, a crosshair and even a whiteboard.
As screencast app, i am using Ashampoo Snap 5, but this is not a freeware. As an alternative to it, i recommend the free version of Jing. The videos are limited to 5 minutes and you can upload them on Facebook, Twitter and ScreenCast.com
Iobit Smart Defrag freeware
Is an extremely fast and efficient defragmentation tool.

Second to it, is Glary Utilities free which i highly recommend.
