Okay, this is really cool! I found this plugin by mistake while looking for a twitter one. Really excited about it.
Basically, you turn the boring commenting system of WP into a really cool and pleasant one.
The look gets a 10. The set up gets a 10. The overall usefulness gets a 20.
It works like this: you download and install the plugin. Create an account with Disqus. Set up the plugin from your dashboard. You can enable Twitter, Facebook and OpenId, so people can leave comments with these accounts instead of typing in their details.
They can also reply from these accounts.
You can like a comment, like on Facebook or directly reply to it instead of leaving just another comment.
So, instead of giving you a screenshot – which is not necessary since you can see how this work by adding a comment or looking at my other threads with comments – i will just copy and paste the benefits of this plugin and hopefully you’ll install it too.

Disqus is a great tool and makes it painlessly easy, and does a good job at keeping the spam away.Disqus is too popular plug-in it is used on over 4,000 blogs.
This is great Carol but I still don't know how to instal Disqus!... I have a site (not a blog--I have no interest in "Wordpress" whatsoever, don't even really know what it is), and I upload it with Dreamweaver.
I have a Disqus acc't (signed up today) but what next? What is an "admin", what is a "dashboard"? I don't know! How do I install their widget or whatever to my site--it would go on my "This Week" page I guess? !!
I also don't know how my name mymusicdiscovery is already on your site comments anyway!!!! Nor that I mind, it means I can comment.
I'm asking you because you have a full website like me.
