Apparently there is someone (he seems to be 19 years old) taking care of Xp users by working on a independent project - Alky Project - to bring DirectX 10 to Windows Xp.

Hardcore gamers won’t have to upgrade anymore their pc’s to the latest graphic cards or their operating system.
