Thinking of a present with 3 months before the big holiday season is a bit premature, but hey, we have to think of everything in advance.
I dislike holidays like that. You have to find the right present at the right price and have it ready at the right moment. Ah, we are so pretentious and it all comes down to presents.

For the existing gamers is not hard to pick because  this end of the year will be rich in games.
Oh yes! There are so many great ones coming out and they all wait for at least one game to spin in their console.
But for the non-gamers is hard…unless you decide to convert them.

You could pick a Wii, PSP, PS3 or and Xbox 360 as a present and because i am not a big fan of the first two, i just picked this video below to help you choose between the 2 greatest consoles we have at the moment: xBox 360 and PS3.

This guide will show you the pros and cons of both consoles and it’s the only fair one i have seen until now.
If you are a parent, a console will be a great gift for your child. Of course, he must earn it first.

Let me remind you, that gaming is actually good for children and is good for you because today’s games are intelligently made and lets them learn and pick up useful skills.

  • You know Rick, the first game i ever played was Doom 3 on pc. I had no feelings about it.
Then i bought the original xbox and the game: “Thief: Deadly Shadows”. It changed my life.

When the 360 came out, it changed even more.
Once you get to hangout with the xbox live crowd, you don't want anything else.
You get to talk to them (voice), play as a team, get the real meaning of a team, get to laugh till you pee your pants and more.

Mind you, the xbox live subscription cost 60€ a year, while the PS3 live is free…it's still something that i would rather pay for. (get the hint, get a 360 :d )

The reason i am saying this is because i find the xbox live network to be the best social network ever build.

  • Carol,

As much as I love PC's, I have never explored the gaming consoles. Your article here may change all of that…
