For Xp users
The most popular Brico Pack – Vista Inspirat 2 has been updated and it looks more beautiful and fresh than the previous one.
For larger screenshots, visit the web site.
According to CrystalXp.com, the pack is aimed to be used even on older computers and its purpose is to make your XP look like Vista while staying fully compatible with Windows XP.
From CrystalXp. com web site :
This new version incorporates the last Vista icons, a completely new visual style, sounds, cursors, and as usual, the famous iColorFolder, RocketDock, Y’z Shadow… but also a new one : TransBar which allows you to add transparency to your task bar !
Now, the problem with the Windows Update KB925902 is solved !
Here’s the link to download the pack and get more info on it – Vista Inspirat 2 for XP.
I am off to install it now on my XP and post asome shots as soon as it done.
Enjoy it!
Update:
Vista Inspirat 2 is installed on my Xp (full installation) and it looks great; It’s fast too.
Here are few shots from the Desktop/My Computer and Control Panel. As you can see, there are new cool icons.

Ok…So we are not all ready to move to Windows Vista because we want to stick with XP for a little longer, or because we can’t afford it. But we want the look of it.
There are plenty of software that can help us get the Vista look, so I am going to attempt to put together few of them.
Option 1
Desktop Sidebar is one of them. If you have a 15 or 17 inch screen though, it won’t look that pretty.
The Sidebar comes with pre-installed panels and lots of skins. Read the rest of this entry »

This is my first post for this year so first I would like to wish you all a happy and great 2007.
Now, let’s get to work.
How would you like to have your most favorite folders into your right click menu?
I know I want to have on my right click menu lots of items, especially the folders I browse the most, so I found today a little freeware called Folder Guide.
With this app you can add any folder you want to the right click context menu and save yourself from browsing them through tons of other folders you’ve got in your Documents.
For more information or to download this freeware, go here.
Download the app and once the installation is done, you’ll be able to add any folder. It’s all very quick and easy.
This freeware is for Windows only.
