DirectX 10 for Windows XP. Yes….You heard that good!

Apparently there is someone (he seems to be 19 years old) taking care of Xp users by working on a independent project - - to bring DirectX 10 to Windows Xp.

Hardcore gamers won’t have to upgrade anymore their pc’s to the latest graphic cards or their operating system.

Vista’s EULA product activation worries

The terms of Microsoft’s End User License Agreement (EULA) for its upcoming Vista operating system raises the conflict between two fundamental principles of contract law. The first, and more familiar, is that parties to a contract can generally agree to just about anything, as long as what they agree to doesn’t violate the law and isn’t “unconscionable”.

The second principle is that the law generally disfavors the remedy of “self-help”. That is to say that, if there is a violation of the terms of a contract, you usually have to go to court, prove the violation, and then you are entitled to damages or other relief.

Movies, TV Shows on Xbox Live from Nov. 22

Microsoft Corp has reportedly tied with several Hollywood studios to sell TV shows and rent movies that can be downloaded through its Xbox Live online video-game service and beamed straight onto consumers’ television sets.
Beginning Nov 22, Xbox Live users equipped with the current generation Xbox 360 gaming console will be able to watch shows, including
CBS Corp’s “CSI”, Viacom’s “South Park” on MTV Comedy Central; and movies such as Paramount Pictures’ “Mission Impossible III” and “Jackass: The Movie”, plus Warner Bros’ “V for Vendetta” and “Superman Returns”, amongst others.

“HD films 480 points, SD films 320 points, TV shows 240 points for
either resolution. TV shows are yours to keep once downloaded and can be re-downloaded for free like XBLA games, the films are on a rental basis, and will only work for 14 days after download”
