A while back, i was looking for a web service where i could put together all my favourite web sites that i visit every day, but i couldn’t find a decent enough one.

See, is so much better when you have them all listed on one page, and you don’t have to look through your bookmarks for them.

Services such as Gmail or YouTube are easy to remember, but when it comes to all the other services i have subscribed to, then is a mess to keep track of them.

And so, Symbaloo is one of those web sites who are saving my day and spare me some minutes of looking for my most important bookmarks.

With a great interface that will resize to your screen’s resolution, Symbaloo offers you the possibility to add lots of bookmarks in blocks and order them in rows and columns by dragging and dropping.

You can choose from a variety of services such as: dictionaries, encyclopedias, news, translations, movies, images, books, currency and so much more- or you can add your chosen ones such as Gmail, gDocs, Veoh, FaceBook, Zooomr and so on- or….just add your links by typing in the URL and you’re set.

If you have lots of stuff you want to see in one place, then you can add more rows and more columns to the page

Have a look at this screenshot and you’ll see what i mean.

You can start testing by filling the blocks and if you decide that you want to use Symbaloo as your startup page, then you can create an account and keep the newly created blocks.

To add links to the blocks, move your mouse over an empty one and then click add. You will then be taken to another view from where you can pick up bookmarks, search modules, news feeds, widgets and radio.

The only thing that i would love to see soon in Symbaloo is the option to import my own bookmarks.

Apparently they are working on that feature as we speak.

Of course, the service is still in beta, so there are lots of goodies to come and make Symbaloo much more useful than it is at the moment.

I didn’t see a tip though on how to handle the external hard drive i carry sometimes with me or my phone and mp3 player’s wires.

Some of you may or may not like Spanish music and i must admit that i am picky with music, but it’s impossible not to like this guy, well, at least one of his songs – Alex Ubago.

He’s got this song – “Sin miedo a nada “- you can listen it on Alex’s web site and it is really beautiful and kind of painful. He’s singing it together with Amaia Montero.

To find the song, hit the forward button of the player at the bottom of his web site till you see “Sin miedo a nada”.

Today I had to download a video for my bf, and he asked me to burn it to a cd or DVD and then I had to do a quick search on how all this Youtube download thing works.

There are probably many ways to download the videos and convert them from .flv but all that information I got, just confused me.

As I said, I am a new to all this and all I wanted was to download and burn the video…. and then I found a web site that really made it incredibly easy for me, FLV Online Convertor . No software downloads, no nothing.

All you have to do is put in your video’s URL and choose the conversion type. When the conversion is done, you’ll be able to save the video on your hard drive.

That’s it.

Quick tip : If you prefer the .flv files, you can download them easy via KeepVid.com, and play them with FLV player.

If you bump into any dead link is not because i have deleted the entry but it’s because the address for that link is changed.

Try the search button or look through the archives to find what you are looking for.

Snap.com has just released their own version of Image Search.

Just like its normal search ( example: Best Freeware) , when the image results are displayed, you don’t have to click on them directly. You can use your mouse scroll button to roll over the images and they’ll be displayed on the right side.
