Here’s a good reason of why you should convert your presentations to video: If you wish to prepare yourself for that next meeting, you could convert the presentation to a video ( playable by most DVD-players), load it on a USB stick and play it on your big TV screen, then try to impress your “ghost- audience”. It’s a great way to rehearse.

After trying this app, i just realized that it is a lot more elegant to present from a video rather than just playing a slide-show. That’s another good reason to start converting.

Last reason…If you wish to share a great presentation with the whole world, just convert it and upload it to YouTube.com.

Then i found the “Quick Media Converter” and that is all i need.

As I type, my Firefox is open with 6 tabs and it uses 8 times more of my CPU than Quick media converter…which is also running and converting that same huge .mkv file to a full HD file for my Xbox, so as you can see it is also a winner when it comes down to memory usage.

I usually don’t blog about software that don’t work or have issues, but i wanted to try Digsby again…and again i had issues. This time was the installation.
It failed twice and i don’t know if is because i declined installing the two suspicious software “Registry power cleaner” and “PC confidential” or for some other reason. The third time it  worked.
