      I don’t care about the link not pointing to the latest version, I can look that up myself. It’s about new apps better or just different than previous ones. Do you think that after this list was created no new freeware apps were created?

      At this point this article should be called “Best freeware (as of x months ago)”.

    Very good list! In reply to those who say the list is outdated : Every link I clicked the file was there to download. Outdated means more than just old BTW, it means no longer useful. I found this list very useful, nothing outdated.

    When you go to a lot of freeware sites it’s amazing when you read reviews on programs where people comment and say stuff like : “Slowed my Pc down, and it’s gotten more bloated over time”, those very same people don’t take into account that it’s not the program that’s become outdated or bloated, it’s actually their computer that’s become outdated and old and doesn’t meet all the requirements set forth by the program they are trying to run most of the time. Or they just don’t know how to do computer maintenance on their system’s properly. It’s something to think about before you go running programs randomly people.
