Backup my Blog
Web site BackupMyBlog does what it says on the tin: backs up the database of any MySQL-based blog (such as WordPress or MovableType). It backs up at a certain interval (daily, weekly or monthly), much like a Cron job, and saves the backup files to their server. This is useful if you often forget to back up your blog, or if you can’t use Cron jobs…..

I too, am leary of letting someone have access to my db, but having a backup copy of your data off site has its advantages.
By the way, Carol, how did you like hosting your blog on WordPress.com? I just opened an account, and am contemplating transfering my blog there since I’m already familiar with the WordPress platform, just curious.
