Most of the “filters” are clients with weak spam filtering support. I personally love gmail’s spam filter. I tried writing spam filters myself, but I feel if gmail/hotmail users identify a sender as spam (several of them), they can block this sender to give less work on the algorithm.

i still use spamihilator for my gmail downloaded to thunderbird. it will work but like normal bayesian mail filter, email training is a must.

My SpamBayes filter managed to get some legit e-mails from few of my friends into my junk box….even after i trained the filter.

After uninstalling it and do a clean install later, it seemed to be working fine.
It didn’t work fine though today when i got mail-bombed on my carolsvault.com mail server.

They all managed to get into my inbox…..and all were spam messages.

I so despise the people doing that right now.
