I am Carol and I started blogging on December 2′nd 2005, on a hosted wp blog called Ctrinity, and my goal at that time was to blog about politics and other issues …. but I ended up instead blogging about Freeware – Open Source, and other computer/internet related.They became my passion.

My goal now is to gather every useful Windows (XP/Vista) tip, trick, online apps, open source software and freeware that i can in one place and make it easy for those who visit my blog to find what they need or what they are looking for…..just like a vault with goodies.

Use the search box to find what you are looking for if you can’t find it on sight.

If you need any help or have any comments, or observations, don’t hesitate to contact me.

A second “if”… If you decide to send me nasty or unfriendly e-mails, i am willing to read them and even answer them, but i kindly ask you to behave like adults are supposed to.

One last thing…I do not get paid for any of my articles. Everything i post on this blog is because i want to and because i choose to.

    Carol, do you still come here? I hope you  do. I stumbled upon a thread about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and I enjoyed so much your clarity of expression and logic in your argumemts. The way you descriubed yourself makes me think we are kindred spirits, except for the religious side, I still believe and hope–the belief allows for a thousand theories about what G-d may be, but the hope is one and only. By the  way, I also  hope I can stay in touch  with you on Facebook, I have two profiles under the same name, the one with the  pic is the one  that is current my  name is Arturo Reaza and you can find me on facebook, i hope to stay in touch with  you  there, good bye!

      Hi Arturo,

      Yes, i still do come every now and then and try to talk sense into people, but when talking to some of them is like trying to makes a paste from oil and water.

      Just added you to Facebook.

      I am happy to find another person who thinks like me.

      I agree with Arturo, I did exactly the same. Found a comment on an article about that conflict and started to follow Carol for the same reason. In my case it was a comment she left on IBTimes.

    Carol, as an anonymous follower of your postings for quite some time now I have to give you my two cents worth. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!! You postings are excellant and well narrated. I thought I had already joined your blog/website but now I can’t find a way to link to it or create a shortcut for it. Can you send me a link to keep you on my desktop. I already have you bookmarked but you know how deep those libraries can get. How about changing your title to The Geek Lady? Seems more fitting. Hope you and yours have a great wknd.
